Forward has recently significantly increased its ability to write commercial property across Canada in both a lead or follow capacity.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and execute the strategic vision for Forward’s commercial property offering.
– Create, refine and maintain underwriting guidelines, and pricing framework.
– Assist in promoting the offering to brokers distribution.
– Supervise a team of 2-3 (and growing) commercial property underwriters – and build your team as we grow in this segment.
– Day to day underwriting of small to mid sized accounts across Canada.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
– Minimum 10 years of commercial property underwriting experience.
– Strong technical knowledge and understanding of market conditions.
– Experience working within an MGA or carrier environment is an asset.
– Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
– CIP, FCIP, or other relevant designations preferred.
Salary Range: CAD $100,000-$125,000
