Position Overview
We are looking for a National Product Director – Personal Lines, in British Columbia or Ontario, to analyze and enhance the personal lines product offering. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business and collaborative team.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
– Analyze results, propose products and refinements to existing products – based on market trends and broker feedback, in collaboration with the leadership team.
– Create, refine, and maintain policy forms, endorsements, underwriting guidelines/appetite, and pricing – in collaboration with the leadership team.
– Collaborate with technology, underwriting, claims, compliance, and marketing teams.
– Create and present in-house training in support of underwriter development.
– Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
– Minimum 10 years of experience in personal lines underwriting or product management.
– Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Canadian personal lines products.
– Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and organization skills.
– CIP/FCIP or other insurance designations preferred.
